Hunar Foundation, established in 2016, is a registered Non-Governmental Organisation, working together with Partners and Local Communities for the upliftment and empowerment of poor and under privileged women. We develop skills in handicraft and allied activities and provide sustainable livelihood opportunities.


An endeavor, Ek Prayas :

  • to identify and work with the impoverished, weaker and vulnerable sections of the society especially women;
  • find solutions for their lives with the ultimate aim of establishing an aware, responsible and developed society based upon equality, fraternity and social justice;
  • ensure sustainable and holistic development with emphasis on human rights;
  • Developing a culture of social service through creating synergy and building strategic partnership with the Government, NGOs (non-government organizations), SHGs (self-help groups), CBOs (community based organizations) and various national organizations by framing appropriate downstream and upstream interventions. 

At Hunar, we make a continuous effort in unlocking and tapping the ocean of potential that remains unrecognized. 


At Hunar we celebrate India and every Indian women, who is an artisan in herself. God’s greatest gift to them is their unlimited potential and we believe in not setting any limits by battling out the restrictions on this unrecognized gift.  We provide training and develop skills of women with the aim to provide a platform to develop their capabilities and provide them sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Craftpreneur, provide platform to underprivileged women to develop, showcase and market their products and make them financially independent. We give a direction and goal to Hunar artisans by making available market for the products crafted by them.
